I can say it was the easiest because this was my first time ever cooking a turkey and it turned out amazing!
I love doing these little ranch updates! If for no other reason, then being able to look back myself and see where we were last year. Instead of a tough poultry season last year, we had the fire in the cover crop we had for the cattle, after the army worms destroyed the first round. I think the lesson from that is that there will always be some problem.
The turkey growing season is behind us! When the season started, we were so excited because of how well our first year with the turkeys went. This year we are excited to be over with the season and hope that next year goes a little smoother.
Have you heard of the turkey shortage? According to many news outlets there is a huge turkey shortage this year. Partially due to the avian flu that has killed around 6million turkeys according to the Washington Post.
